We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team at our Eastport location. As a Marine Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including forklifts, travelifts, bobcat, and hydraulic trailer.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain travelift, forklifts, and other marina heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Launch, haul, and move boats as necessary to support boat storage operation.
Load and unload boats and wave runners onto trailers.
Place boats in and out of water using travelift.
Boat Hauling.

Experience:

Experience in travelift operation in a marine environment is preferred.
Experience in boat hauling.
A minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience is required.

Requirements:

Driver's license with a clean driving record; Valid Class A driver's license is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
Be reliable, punctual, and motivated.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be able to use basic tools and power equipment.
Must be able to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a full-time position year-round with a 40-hour per week schedule during Winter and Summer, and a 45-hour per week schedule during Spring and Fall with overtime pay. Compensation will be based on experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, (5) paid holidays, vacation time, sick time, holiday bonus, 401K, and 401K match contribution.

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
