Hampton Watercraft & Marine in an Elite Yacht Dealership with four high-end marinas. We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team at our Eastport location. As a Marine Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including forklifts, travelifts, bobcat, and hydraulic trailer.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain travelift, forklifts, and other marina heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Launch, haul, and move boats as necessary to support boat storage operation.
• Load and unload boats and wave runners onto trailers.
• Place boats in and out of water using travelift.
• Boat Hauling.

Experience:

• Experience in travelift operation in a marine environment is preferred.
• Experience in boat hauling.
• A minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience is required.

Requirements:

• Driver's license with a clean driving record; Valid Class A driver's license is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Be reliable, punctual, and motivated.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to use basic tools and power equipment.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a full-time position year-round with a 40-hour per week schedule during Winter and Summer, and a 45-hour per week schedule during Spring and Fall with overtime pay.
