Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery and performing utility work to support large-scale projects. Your expertise will ensure that construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and bulldozers to perform excavation, grading, and utility installation tasks. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with equipment safety procedures. Assist in construction utility work by locating underground utilities and installing infrastructure. Follow federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe work environment. Perform construction site preparation activities including excavation, grading, and site cleanup while adhering to construction grading standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and maintain clear communication during all phases of the project. Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and haul trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting issues promptly. Ability to perform construction utility work with precision, including utility locating and excavation tasks. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to equipment safety procedures. Skilled in construction grading, site preparation, and general excavation techniques. Familiarity with construction site experience, including working around various types of machinery.
