Job Duties Operate CDL A yard hostler No touch Move trailers in and out of dock doors Perform trailer spotting Couple and uncouple trailers Support loading and unloading operations Driving Requirements 22+ years of age Valid CDL-A license DOT Medical Card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years) or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years Strong backing and trailer manuevering skills required Able to work safely in a manufacturing and distribution yard environment Engligh lanugage profiency required in accordance with federal regulations No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan and more Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Holiday Pay is provided for eligible Drivers Weekly Pay Staffmark Perkspot - discounts on almost anything you want to buy Opportunity for long-term employment and career growth Local yard position with no over-the-road travel Home daily What You Will Do As a CDL A Yard Hostler Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
