Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in executing construction projects with precision and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of construction machinery, ensuring efficient site operations and adherence to safety standards. Duties Operate heavy construction machinery including, loaders, excavators, dump truck, boom trucks, laser screed and concrete buggies to move materials efficiently across the site. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating machinery and handling materials. Conduct pre-operation checks on hydraulic systems, hand tools, and other construction machinery to identify potential issues early. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections for accountability and compliance. Skills Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and equipment maintenance best practices. Demonstrated ability to safely operate several types of heavy equipment. Ability to perform routine repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues confidently. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures, PPE use, and occupational safety regulations. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Excellent understanding of construction site workflows and the ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
