Job Description
We are a construction company located in the Southwestern Pennsylvania area. We are looking for a competent worker for construction projects. This position requires good physical strength, problem solving skills, be able to work well with your hands, and be reliable. Experience in working on relevant projects and using equipment is essential. Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules are important. All team members must be prompt, reliable, and able to communicate effectively. Responsibilities Brush hog and weed whack Assist machine operators in construction projects Unload and carry materials at construction sites Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles Construction site cleanup Prepare and clean new construction homes for next phase of construction Clean out site from debris and discard material Erosion and sediment control at job sites Operate skid steer and mini excavator Able to pull a trailer Skills Able to pull a trailer Operate hand and power tools Lift 50+ pounds Experience operating skid steer Knowledgeable in construction work is a plus Understand basic math Experience in operating equipment is a plus Knowledge of basic construction principles and methods Able to work in a team or independently Able to follow instructions Attention to safety and follow safety procedures Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written) Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination High school diploma or equivalent
