Responsibilities Operate heavy construction machinery including excavators, loaders, backhoes, cranes, and front loader trucks to perform earthmoving, material handling, and site preparation tasks. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Handle materials efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, material handlers, and cranes to support project timelines. Assist with setup and breakdown of construction sites by using hand tools and mechanical knowledge for assembly and disassembly tasks. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment usage and ensure smooth workflow on-site. Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and safety checks in accordance with company policies. Skills Proven experience operating construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, cranes, Caterpillar equipment, and farm machinery. Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems, equipment safety procedures, and occupational safety regulation compliance. Ability to perform basic mechanical maintenance on heavy equipment and hand tools to troubleshoot issues promptly. Experience with concrete mixers, material handling equipment operation, and construction site logistics. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and operating front loader trucks or farm machinery. Familiarity with construction site safety standards including PPE use (Personal Protective Equipment) and hazard awareness.
