This is an excellent opportunity to find a home at a company that puts family values first. Duties & Responsibilities Perform pre-shift equipment inspections. Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Perform preventative maintenance, such as greasing and topping off fluid levels. Assist with crushing plant maintenance and housekeeping, such as shoveling spillages and greasing machinery. Assist with crushing plant repairs, such as splicing belts and changing screens. Follow safety rules, such as lock out - tag out procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior heavy equipment experience preferred. Ability to climb ladders, lift & carry heavy loads, and perform manual labor tasks. Work Environment Work will primarily occur at a rock quarry and gravel pit. Work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, risk of electric shock, dust, explosives, the elements, and elevated noise levels.
