Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter to join our dynamic team! Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray systems), and other hand or power tools with precision and efficiency Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute painting projects according to design requirements Perform structural painting on various surfaces such as stucco, concrete, metal, and wood in both interior and exterior settings Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting and coating applications on commercial, industrial, or residential structures Use ladders safely to access elevated areas while adhering strictly to safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols Assist with fixture installation, trim carpentry, caulking, and other handyman tasks as needed during renovation or remodeling projects Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials and ensuring tools are well-maintained for optimal performance Skills Extensive knowledge of construction estimating related to painting projects and material requirements Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and accurate visual color comparisons Proficiency in residential painting techniques including brush painting and roller application Experience with construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol guidelines including respiratory protection measures Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), and equipment for surface preparation and finishing Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately for precise project execution Familiarity with construction site experience encompassing plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, fixture installation, frame carpentry, drywall repair, renovation work, maintenance tasks, and industrial painting processes Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses or material quantities Knowledge of construction estimating for project planning and resource allocation Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship in a vibrant environment where your skills make a visible difference!
