Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Drywall and Painting Professional to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and installing drywall to ensure high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Responsibilities Prepare construction surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and drywall installation. Install drywall panels accurately according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. Apply primer, paint, stains, and coatings using brush, roller, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray), or other tools to achieve smooth, even finishes. Perform structural painting tasks such as painting beams, columns, and other structural elements with precision. Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting and industrial painting projects, ensuring surfaces are free of dust, grease, or imperfections. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, sand, and install drywall or apply paint coatings efficiently. Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection when necessary and adhering to all safety protocols during work activities. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute remodeling or renovation projects. Assist in fixture installation or handyman tasks as needed to support project completion. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times. Skills Extensive experience with drywall installation, finishing, and repair techniques. Proficiency in residential and commercial painting including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless paint spraying), and surface preparation. Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects. Strong understanding of color theory for achieving desired visual effects. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Skilled in using hand tools such as putty knives, sanders, caulking guns; power tools including drills and saws; paint sprayers; ladders; scaffolding; and other relevant equipment. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including respiratory protection protocols. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope. Experience with renovation projects involving drywall repair or replacement; stucco application; fixture installation; maintenance work; industrial painting; coating applications; construction surface preparation; commercial painting; construction spray painting; structural painting; interior finishing; remodeling; or handyman tasks is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual color comparison to ensure consistent quality across surfaces.
