Overview Join our dynamic maintenance and painting team as a skilled Painter / Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will transform spaces and ensure the longevity of our facilities. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and power tools for interior and exterior surfaces Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to accurately execute projects according to design standards Conduct surface repairs such as masonry work, stucco application, fixture installation, and remodeling tasks to support renovation efforts Maintain safety protocols by utilizing respiratory protection, adhering to safety regulations, and operating ladders and scaffolding safely during high or hard-to-reach work Perform construction estimating for projects involving coating, industrial painting, or structural painting to assist in planning and resource allocation Assist with general handyman duties including minor repairs, maintenance tasks, and site cleanup to support ongoing facility operations Requirements Proven experience in construction painting, commercial painting, residential painting, or industrial coating applications Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as sanding, caulking, plastering, and masonry work Proficient with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), and other application equipment Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of color theory for proper color matching and visual color comparison skills Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction site work including respiratory protection and fall prevention using ladders or scaffolding Strong basic math skills for measurements and estimations during project planning Experience with fixture installation, remodeling projects, or handyman tasks is a plus Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering exceptional maintenance services while fostering a safe and vibrant workspace.
