Experienced Painters:

Cleaning, preparing, repairing, and priming surfaces, including drywalling, to ensure smooth finish Mixing, matching, and applying primer and paint to walls, ceilings, doors, trim as directed Assist with preparation of cost estimates for capital investment projects and renovations Communicating with the Administrator or designee to determine painting needs and requirements to make best decisions about projects Assembly of scaffolding and safety equipment may be required May operate tools such as power washer and spray paint equipment Maintain inventory of brushes, rollers, tarps Adhere to quality standards of health and safety regulations Will report to facility

Commercial painting experience preferred Ability to speak and read English preferred Must pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting, and be deemed eligible to work in a healthcare facility by the IL Dept of Public Health Previous work experience in a residential health care setting a plus Able to work well independently and as part of a team Must have compassion for those with psychiatric conditions Must be willing to have a flu shot, unless you have a valid medical or religious exemption letter Albany Care is a 24-hour facility dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric disorders.
