DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective Level III Painter is responsible for sanding, priming & top coating tank/trailer. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, unprotected heights, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the job site. The noise level in the work environment and job site can be loud. Essential Physical Functions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires the following positioning requirements with the associated percentage of the workday denoted beside each one: sitting (5%), standing (20%), walking (15%), twisting (bending (15%), kneeling (15%), squatting (15%). The employee must frequently lift or move items 75 pounds 4 times per day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4;00 p.m... Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Education and Experience Sanding, painting & topcoating experience Additional Eligibility Qualifications Experience in Word, Excel, and other Office products preferred. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Lawfully eligible to work in the United States.
