Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and finishing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. A keen eye for detail and an understanding of color theory are essential for achieving the desired results. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment. Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and ensure a smooth finish. Install fixtures and perform basic remodeling tasks as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Painter or similar role. Knowledge of frame carpentry and maintenance person skills is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools and painting equipment. Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities. Ability to work on remodeling projects and fixture installations.
