We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can deliver a professional finished product in occupied homes, remodels, and insurance restoration projects. Responsibilities Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, and other surfaces for painting Patch nail holes, cracks, and minor drywall imperfections Sand, caulk, prime, and properly prep surfaces before painting Match existing paint colors and finishes when required Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, baseboards, and other interior/exterior surfaces Properly mask and protect flooring, cabinets, countertops, furniture, fixtures, and other finished surfaces Perform touch-ups and punch-list work Maintain a clean and organized work area Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools Accurately communicate material needs to the Project Manager Inspect completed work and correct deficiencies before considering the job complete Work professionally and respectfully in customers' homes and businesses Follow company safety procedures and jobsite standards Work with project managers and other trades to keep projects on schedule Qualifications Previous professional painting experience preferred Strong knowledge of surface preparation and proper painting techniques Experience with brush, roller, and spray applications preferred Ability to produce clean cut lines and professional finishes Ability to perform minor drywall repairs, caulking, and surface preparation Dependable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Strong attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Must take pride in workmanship and jobsite cleanliness Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, bend, kneel, reach overhead, and safely lift and carry painting materials and equipment.
