Job Description

Painter Crew Leader Paint to Life, LLC Royal Oak, MI Job Details Full-time $30
  • $35 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Residential painting Project change management Project timeline management Manager experience Driving Leading team collaboration initiatives Managing projects Crew management Full Job Description We are searching for our next
HIGH LEVEL
employee team painting crew leader. This position is for very few people out there. It requires someone who is not only an expert painter, but someone who has the drive for something more
  • to efficiently lead a crew of 2-3 other painters while managing changing scopes of work, timelines and all the other factors that occur in the residential construction industry. If you have worked in "the trades" for more than a year, then you know how chaotic it can get
  • Home owners' expectations not aligning, GC's moving timelines, different companies on site when we were told no one else would be
  • it can be extremely challenging trying to lead a team in that constant storm.
That is why we are searching for someone who truly has the ambition to attack every day with a positive mindset, an overcoming attitude, and the drive to constantly get better. The great news? This company is currently run by two young men who already have that; and with the right people on our team, we are able to actively avoid those issues, and handle them appropriately when they come up. I, Noah, am the owner, and plan on taking this company higher and higher with the goal of bettering our employees, subcontractors, clients and suppliers. Nick, our current crew leader and future project manager, has become one of the most elite crew leaders in this area, patiently and eagerly awaiting to train and handoff his role so he can begin his next position at the company. What would make you the right fit? Self motivated; you're the guy or girl who actively looks and plans for the next steps of the day, week, and even month Hard worker; there will be days that regular people cannot handle. Not because we're out here breaking concrete, but because painting is meticulous and labor intensive. We require someone who can mentally "clock in" when certain days are stacked against us GREAT attitude; you're the person that no one talks poorly about; even the bad coworkers. You are always optimistic and you view problems as challenges that we can learn from Communication; we need people who can appropriately and effectively communicate. That includes their feelings so we can address what's going on, and also standard work communication Why Paint to Life? A team that cares; Nick and myself truly care about those who work for and with us. The only way to have a team that delivers for our clients is to provide an environment that makes them thrive. Upward Mobility; because we want to grow, that gives our team the opportunity to grow Greatness; sounds cheesy, but those who want to be great, surround themselves with other great people. Are you that person? If you are an experienced painter from the
RESIDENTIAL
industry and are tired of not having the room to grow and lead with your current situation
  • then we are here. This ad will most likely be running for next 6 months as we wait to find our next crew leader. I (patiently) look forward to who that may be.
