Painter I
  • Requirements & Responsibilities Core Responsibilities
  • Organize workflow to maintain balance between sanding and painting operations
  • Perform paint booth setup and cleanup, including purging and filling lines
  • Follow production schedules and load-date priorities
  • Apply white primer and finish coats across all product lines
  • Execute work based on daily work-to lists
  • Support delegation of bulk production orders
  • Maintain paint booth filtration and safety standards
  • Control paint flow rates and ensure quality (no drips, runs, or defects)
  • Produce high-quality final finish on all products (caps, decos, balusters, etc.) Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of paint application techniques and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
  • Basic understanding of safety practices in a paint booth environment
  • Leadership Expectations
  • Set clear expectations for safety, quality, and production standards
  • Lead by example with strong work ethic and floor presence
  • Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork
  • Prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Communicate clearly across cross-functional teams
  • Actively mentor and develop team members
  • Key Skills for Staffing Screening
  • Industrial or production painting experience (spray systems, booth work)
  • Experience with primer + finish coating systems
  • Ability to meet production deadlines
