We are looking for skilled painters to add to our team. Experience in all aspects of residential painting is required. Must have reliable transportation & possess great attention to detail. We deliver high-quality painting work and are looking for team players who want to grow. Pay commensurate with experience. Full time - 40 hours in a 4 day work week, year round. Boat transportation is provided from Groton Long Point. Responsibilities Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc. Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, priming, removing old paint etc. Repairing plaster and drywall Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools Maintain a clean and orderly work area Adhere all health and safety precautions Skills Proven experience as a painter, 3-5 years + Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select and apply them Solid knowledge of construction painting techniques Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc). Conscientious with great attention to detail Ability to use spray equipment preferred Minor drywall and taping
