Description Cajota Contracting LLC is seeking experienced Commercial Painters to join our growing field team in the greater Pittsburgh area. We are looking for dependable, skilled painters with experience in commercial construction, renovation, and occupied-facility environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing walls, ceilings, doors, frames, trim, and other surfaces for painting
- Patching, sanding, caulking, and performing general surface preparation
- Applying paint and coatings using brushes, rollers, and other appropriate equipment
- Painting interior and exterior commercial surfaces
- Painting doors, door frames, windows, window frames, walls, and ceilings
- Protecting adjacent finishes and maintaining clean work areas
- Completing project punch-list and touch-up work
- Following project drawings, specifications, and direction from field supervision
- Safely using hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
Working effectively with other trades and members of the project team Qualified candidates should have professional painting experience and be able to perform surface preparation and painting work to a professional commercial standard. Candidates should be dependable, quality-focused, and capable of working independently or as part of a crew. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites throughout the greater Pittsburgh region. This is a full-time, hourly position. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Project-specific prevailing wage rates may apply on qualifying public projects.
