The Painter applies paints and coatings to a variety of industrial surfaces, including drywall, concrete, and steel, as part of Petrochem's Paintings & Coatings Division. This division handles maintenance, turnarounds, outages, and capital projects across industrial and commercial environments. Key Duties & Responsibilities Apply paints and coatings to metal surfaces Mix and apply various types of paints and coatings using brush, roller, and spray methods Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, patching, sanding) Apply primers and sealers to ensure proper adhesion Work effectively with team members and follow safety protocols Travel to job sites as required Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to mix and apply multiple types of paints and coatings Proficiency with brush, roller, and spray equipment Safety-conscious and punctual Teamwork and proactivity Basic knowledge of industrial painting and coatings processes Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
