About Nacey Painting Nacey Painting is an established commercial painting contractor serving businesses and commercial properties throughout Utah. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who communicates in both English and Spanish and is interested in learning professional commercial painting. We value work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn more than years of painting experience. Our reputation is built on high-quality workmanship. We believe in doing the job correctly rather than sacrificing quality for speed. We will train the right person in our specific preparation and painting methods. What You'll Do Initially, you'll work closely with our experienced foreman on commercial painting projects, primarily at Amazon facilities.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and basic patching. Protecting floors, equipment, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces. Following the foreman's instructions and responding positively to coaching and feedback. Organizing tools and materials and maintaining clean, safe job sites. Arriving on time, working diligently, and contributing to a professional team.
What We're Looking For Required:
Ability to communicate effectively in BOTH English and Spanish. English as a second language is welcome; perfect fluency is not required. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Willingness to learn our methods, follow directions, and accept constructive feedback. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites throughout the Wasatch Front, potentially as far north as Ogden, south as Lehi, west as West Valley City, and east as Park City. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Ability to complete client-required background screening and obtain site access/badging for initial Amazon assignments. Ability to perform the physical duties of commercial painting and surface preparation, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Painting experience is NOT required. Previous experience in construction, general labor, maintenance, or other hands-on work is helpful but not necessary. We are particularly interested in individuals who work hard, take pride in doing things correctly, and are willing to learn from an experienced professional.
