In this energetic role, you will be responsible for transforming interior and exterior surfaces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise in surface preparation, coating techniques, and color application will ensure each project exceeds client expectations. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns—including airless paint spraying—for a smooth finish. Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timeframes for residential painting jobs. Operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, including respiratory protection measures. Perform surface repairs such as patching holes or cracks and restoring surfaces during renovation or restoration projects. Utilize ladder use safely for high or hard-to-reach areas; demonstrate proficiency with scaffolding when necessary. Execute specialty coatings for industrial or commercial painting projects when required. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining a clean and organized work site. Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of construction site procedures and safety protocols. Skilled in surface preparation techniques including construction painting surface preparation and concrete finishing. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), and airless paint spraying equipment. Understand English Knowledge of coating types such as stucco, plastering materials, caulking compounds, and masonry finishes. Experience with remodeling, renovation projects, fixture installation, drywall finishing (including drywall taping), and general handyman tasks is a plus. Few years experience painting interiors and exteriors. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety regulations compliance—especially regarding respiratory protection—and teamwork.
