Responsibilities Assist with surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, caulking, and drywall repair to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Mix paints and coatings accurately using proper techniques and tools such as paint sprayers, brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment Apply paint, stain, or coating materials to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and structural elements in residential, commercial, and industrial settings Use hand tools and power tools safely for surface prep, sanding, scraping, and fixture installation Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles Assist with renovation projects by performing tasks such as plastering, drywall installation, masonry work, and fixture installation under supervision Skills Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects is a plus Strong understanding of color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching Experience with residential painting techniques including brush painting and roller application Proficiency in using ladders safely for high or hard-to-reach areas Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and proper use of respiratory protection equipment Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications accurately Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, spray guns (including conventional spraying), airless paint spraying systems, and maintenance of equipment Knowledge of surface preparation methods such as construction painting surface preparation and coating techniques for various materials like stucco or drywall Experience with commercial or industrial painting projects involving structural painting or restoration work Skills in caulking, trim carpentry, plastering, masonry work, fixture installation, or handyman tasks are advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional quality through skilled craftsmanship.
