Fire Sprinkler Foreman - Commercial Installation Fort Walton Beach / Pensacola, FL $30-$40 per hour

+ Benefits A well-established, growing fire protection company serving Northwest Florida is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead commercial sprinkler installation projects throughout the Florida Panhandle. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sprinkler professional who enjoys leading crews while remaining hands-on in the field. You'll oversee apprentices and installers, coordinate day-to-day field activities, and help ensure commercial sprinkler projects are completed safely, efficiently and according to plans, specifications and applicable NFPA requirements. Our work is primarily local, allowing our field employees to spend more nights at home rather than constantly traveling. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate. Coordinate daily field activities and assign work to apprentices and installers. Read and interpret sprinkler plans, drawings and project specifications. Ensure installations are completed according to applicable NFPA standards and local requirements. Monitor quality, productivity and jobsite safety. Troubleshoot installation and system issues in the field. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, other trades and customers. Track project progress and communicate material, scheduling or field concerns. Train and develop apprentices and less-experienced installers. Maintain an organized, professional and safe jobsite. What We're Looking For Several years of commercial fire sprinkler installation experience. Previous Foreman, Lead Fitter or crew leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of commercial sprinkler systems and NFPA requirements. Ability to read sprinkler drawings and plans. Experience leading installers and apprentices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers and other trades. NICET certification is helpful but not required . Experienced Lead Fitters who are ready to take the next step into a formal Foreman role are encouraged to apply.
