Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Septic Installation Technician to oversee and execute septic system installations with precision and efficiency. This role is vital in ensuring the proper setup of wastewater systems, septic and sewer repairs in compliance with all safety and construction standards. As a leader on the job site, you will coordinate installation activities, lead construction, and ensure projects are completed on time and to exact specifications. Duties Lead the installation of septic systems, septic and sewer repairs and other excavation services according to construction plans and blueprints. Operate equipment such as excavators, skid loaders, pump trucks, sewer jetter Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise following of specifications. Install systems using pipe lasers and other tools to ensure proper alignment and grade; complete pipe laser measurements for accuracy. Perform maintenance on equipment and trucks Trouble shoot and diagnose septic related issues Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as, loaders, excavators, backhoes, septic trucks in construction settings. Strong knowledge of wastewater systems installation including septic tanks, sanitary drainage systems and excavation, Skilled in reading blueprints, technical drawings, construction plans, and interpreting engineering specifications related to underground utilities. Hands-on experience with pipe installation techniques using laser-guided tools; familiarity with underground utility locating methods. Must possess a CDL. Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol standards on job sites. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards; excellent communication skills are essential.
