In this role, you will be responsible for laying pipes for water supply, sewer lines, stormwater systems, and other underground utilities. Your expertise will ensure that construction projects meet safety standards and adhere to blueprint specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse utility installation projects while contributing to essential infrastructure development. Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately install pipelines and underground utilities. Install sanitary sewer systems, wastewater systems, stormwater drainage, and water supply pipelines following safety regulations and project specifications. Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation during pipe installation. Perform construction trenching activities while adhering to federal construction safety regulations and safety protocol guidelines. Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation to prevent damage or accidents. Complete concrete forming, and finishing tasks as needed for pipeline supports or related structures. Skills Strong knowledge of utility trenching, sewer line installation, and underground utilities installation processes. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for construction projects. Experience with pipe laser alignment tools and following blueprint specifications precisely. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including federal safety standards for excavation and utility work. Knowledge of wastewater systems, sanitary drainage systems, stormwater systems, and water supply infrastructure.
