OVERVIEW
Devault Refrigeration, Inc., is a leading industrial and commercial refrigeration contractor located in Pennsylvania that serves the Mid-Atlantic region since 1983. Devault is seeking a dedicated and reliable Welder/Pipefitter to work with a team to build and maintain industrial/commercial refrigeration systems. You'll have the opportunity to read blueprints, set specifications, lay out plans for installation, and prepare pipes to successfully complete a project!
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Highschool Diploma/GED or equivalent, required
  • Trade school education or apprenticeship, preferred
  • Industrial/commercial refrigeration training, preferred
  • Working knowledge of equipment and tools needed for the job
  • Ability to work independently
  • Focused on safety and quality
  • Comfortable working at elevation and ability to climb ladders
  • Manage time effectively and efficiently
  • Valid Driver's license and insurable driving record, required
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • 6G Welding Certification, required
  • Carbon Steel
SMAW E6010/7018 6G
Certification, required
  • Stainless Steel
GTAW ER308L 6G
Certification, required
  • OSHA 30/10 and Lift certification, preferred
  • Must pass substance screenings and background screenings
  • Must abide by employee manual and all safety policies
SCHEDULE HOURS
  • 40+ hours per week - working times vary between 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • On-call availability for off-hour work; emergencies, shutdowns, and/or maintenance
  • Opportunity for over-time
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
  • Ability to understand fabrication and layout drawings
  • Follow specifications
  • Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations
  • Measure and cut pipes accurately
  • Weld, assemble and lubricate valve assemblies
  • Fabricate, install, and adjust pipe supports
  • Ensure pipe systems are clean and ready for operation
  • Repair malfunctions, breakages, or leaks
  • Collaborate with other team members to produce finished projects on time and under budget
  • Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment
  • Comply with relevant codes and regulatory standards
  • Follow industrial pipe support standards and guidelines
  • Ability to work with a team to complete all projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
