Rockline Civil LLC is looking for a skilled Pipe Layer to join our excavation team. In this role, you'll be hands-on with large-scale excavation projects; digging trenches, installing and connecting pipe systems, and working from blueprints to spec. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lay, align, and position pipe sections in trenches using lasers for precise alignment Seal pipe joints with cement, glue, and welding equipment to prevent leaks Grade and compact trench bases using hand tools or tamping machines Read and follow blueprints, maps, and technical specifications Locate, excavate, and repair or replace broken pipes Backfill trenches and maintain a clean, safe work site Perform general labor duties as assigned by the superintendent

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a pipe layer, utility crew member, or in a similar construction role Proficiency with trenching tools, cutting equipment, and survey instruments (lasers/levels) Knowledge of civil construction techniques including grading, paving, and utilities Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform heavy manual labor in all weather conditions Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites across the region Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow direction from supervisors Attention to detail, accurate measuring skills, and solid problem-solving ability Safety-conscious mindset, strong work ethic, and reliable punctuality Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an outdoor, field-based position. You'll work in construction environments across varied weather conditions. Proper PPE is required and provided. Occasional regional travel between project sites is expected.

Pay:

$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
