Production Technician Location:
Clute, TX Pay Rate:
$22.00•$25.00 / hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 7:30 AM•4:30 PM (Overtime available; call-outs approx. once every 6 weeks)
Job Type:
Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter / Production Technician to join our team in Clute, TX. In this role, you will perform precision pipe lining tasks, pipe prep, general production, and light shipping and receiving. If you have strong pipe measurement skills, forklift experience, and mechanical aptitude, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities Pipe Lining & Prep:
Remove liners from 1" to 4" diameter pipe, cut materials to precise lengths, flare pipe ends, and reinsert liners.
Material Handling & Forklift Operations:
Safely operate a forklift to maneuver heavy pipe and materials throughout the facility.
Shipping & Receiving:
Perform palletization, packaging, and general shipping/receiving tasks for finished pipe products.
Precision Measurement:
Measure materials accurately down to 1/16 of an inch on a consistent daily basis.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Pipefitting, pipe assembly, or industrial production background preferred.
Measurement Skills:
High proficiency in reading a tape measure accurately down to 1/16″.
Equipment Operation:
Demonstrated experience operating a forklift for heavy pipe handling.
Physical Capability:
Ability to handle physical labor, pipe material handling, and palletization. Welding (Bonus): Tack welding experience is a strong plus!
Background Check & Drug Screen:
