HeaderDuties Lay and install underground pipelines such as sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and water supply lines following detailed construction plans and blueprint specifications Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation of pipelines during installation Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide installation processes Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before trenching or excavation begins Perform construction trenching safely while adhering to federal construction safety regulations and safety protocol standards HeaderRequirements Skilled in pipe installation techniques for underground utilities including sewer lines, water systems, and stormwater drainage Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for precise pipeline placement Knowledge of utility locating methods to prevent damage to existing underground infrastructure Familiarity with construction trenching procedures and safety regulations specific to federal construction projects Understanding of wastewater systems, sanitary drainage systems, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and underground utilities installation projects Strong adherence to safety protocols including OSHA standards related to heavy equipment operation and utility trenching This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital infrastructure projects while working in a collaborative team environment.
