Job Description

Pipefitters Work location Everett, WA We're looking for great Local and Non Local pipefitters for work in Seattle, and Everett. Pay will be $32.00/hour for qualified pipefitters. Per Diem is provided to candidates who qualify. Short Term Contract in Everett with plenty of Overtime! Experience You should have four or more years of commercial or naval experience as a first-class Pipefitter. Required Skills Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and always adhere to all OSHA safety standards and safety policies. Perform layout, fabrication, installation, modification, testing, and repair of piping systems using various materials (e.g., copper, CuNi, CRES, steel). Have working knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches; create fabrication sketches and targets for new installations and mock-ups. Install systems with little to no guidance from the Supervisor or Lead Mechanics, including building mock-ups and off-site prefabrication. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipe fitting removals and installation. Prepare pipe joints and fit pipe for welding, brazing, soldering, or threading, ensuring adherence to required tolerances. Operate torches and fabricate, install, or modify pipe hangers and supports as required. Have working knowledge of performing air, hydrostatic, static or operational tests on piping systems in accordance with safety and quality standards. Calculate joint allowances, take-offs, and tolerances for butt welds, socket welds, braze and threaded joints. Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with all applicable procedures, specifications, and safety regulations. Must have working knowledge of hand tools and instruments used in the pipefitting trade, including but not limited to bandsaws, grinders, and drills. Must also possess and maintain personal hand tools necessary to perform the trade. Read and interpret Chemist and Competent Person reports to ensure safe conditions for hot work.
