In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor hardscape features, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry elements. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional and beautiful environments that meet client specifications and adhere to safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of hardscape features Prepare job sites by setting up necessary equipment, measuring layout lines, and ensuring safety protocols are in place Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently during installation processes Install various building materials such as stone, brick, concrete pavers, stucco, and other masonry products with precision Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high quality standards Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and restoration efforts after project completion Skills Extensive experience with hardscaping construction projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints using Bluebeam or similar software Strong knowledge of building material installation techniques for masonry, tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco, and flooring Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation for excavation and installation tasks Background in carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation or remodeling is a plus Familiarity with electrical and plumbing basics relevant to outdoor installations is advantageous Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while working outdoors in various weather conditions Experience with construction management practices including estimating and site inspection processes Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings related to hardscaping projects and building construction standards Prior construction site experience with a focus on outdoor work environments is highly desirable Join our team if you're passionate about outdoor construction projects!
