Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise surface preparation, color application, and finishing techniques. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance the aesthetics and durability of buildings while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, and rollers to apply coatings accurately and efficiently Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and color schemes to execute project requirements with precision Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco, masonry, framing, and renovation work on various building components Conduct surface testing and visual color comparisons to achieve consistent color matching and finish standards Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all phases of painting work Assist with maintenance tasks including fixture installation, remodeling projects, restoration efforts, and general handyman duties as needed Skills Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects Strong understanding of color theory for effective color matching and design implementation Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial coating applications, and renovation projects Proficiency with ladder use, scaffolding setup, and working at heights safely Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as sanding, scraping, caulking, plastering, and masonry work Ability to operate a variety of tools including hand tools, power tools, spray guns (conventional and airless), and finishing equipment Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and specifications for precise project execution Knowledge of safety regulations including respiratory protection use and safety protocol adherence on construction sites Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coatings application Experience with fixture installation, trim carpentry, stucco application, concrete finishing, framing carpentry, masonry work, remodeling projects, maintenance tasks, and airless paint spraying Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert painting techniques!
