In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor hardscape features, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry elements. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional works of art, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, utilizing your extensive knowledge of building materials, technical drawings, and installation techniques to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Adhere to construction plans, and drawings to accurately execute hardscape installations. Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and setting forms for concrete and masonry work. Install a wide range of hardscape features including pavers, stonework, brickwork, concrete forms, and masonry structures. Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate efficient installation processes. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to ensure durability and aesthetic standards are met. Manage the use of building materials effectively while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Fabricate custom components on-site when necessary using appropriate tools and techniques. Experience Proven experience in hardscape installation within commercial or residential construction settings. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes related to outdoor projects. Hands-on experience with building material installation such as tile laying and masonry. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely in outdoor environments across various construction projects. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to outdoor construction sites including electrical safety. Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in varying weather conditions while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
