- We are seeking an experienced Plumber to install, assemble, and maintain plumbing systems. This role involves ensuring the functionality and compliance of water, drainage, and gas lines in both residential and commercial settings.
- Responsibilities
- + Install, test, and repair water, drainage, and gas lines.
+ Read blueprints and follow specifications to ensure accurate installations.
+ Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using both hand and power tools.
+ Inspect plumbing systems for leaks and ensure they comply with building codes.
+ Maintain septic and commercial sewer systems.
+ Collaborate with production teams to meet project schedules.
+ Adhere to OSHA and safety guidelines.
- Essential Skills
- + 3+ years of experience as a Plumber in a commercial setting.
+ Proficiency in installing, testing, and repairing plumbing systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and building codes.
+ Experience soldering copper pipes.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Experience with plumbing systems, materials, and installations. + Familiarity with construction and installation processes. + Capability in working with commercial plumbing setups.

- Work Environment
- Work in an industrial/manufacturing environment with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 4:00pm. Occasional Saturday morning shifts may be required, providing a structured work-life balance.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $26.
00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
