Typically 8 a.m.-5 p.m. No on-call or 24-hour service. Onsite Plumbing is hiring an experienced plumber who can handle residential service calls independently, deliver quality workmanship, and communicate clearly with customers. This is not an entry-level or training position. Responsibilities Diagnose plumbing problems, explain repair options, and price jobs, with owner guidance available when needed. Install and replace water heaters according to applicable plumbing code. Install and replace plumbing fixtures and service shower valves. Work with copper piping using ProPress and soldered fittings. Work with gas piping and fittings. Perform drain cleaning using proper snaking techniques. Complete repiping projects, with opportunities for new construction plumbing. Use tools and equipment safely, protect customers' property, and maintain a clean work area. Qualifications At least two years of relevant plumbing experience and solid residential plumbing knowledge. Ability to complete service calls independently. Working knowledge of plumbing code, sewer layouts, and general plumbing equipment. Valid driver's license. Own plumbing hand tools. Reliable attendance, professional customer communication, and pride in your work. Commercial plumbing experience preferred but not required. No individual plumbing license required; the owner holds the company's plumbing license. Compensation and Equipment Starting pay of $30 per hour, with higher pay based on experience and demonstrated ability. Company-provided work truck, job materials, and press guns.
