About the Position We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and skilled Residential Plumber to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who knows residential plumbing, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can confidently handle plumbing installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and remodeling work from start to finish. Our projects include single-family homes, residential remodels, renovations, repairs, additions, and plumbing upgrades . The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, reading plans, solving problems in the field, communicating with homeowners and other trades, and completing quality work without constant supervision. We are looking for someone who wants to work—not just show up. You should be able to look at a plumbing problem, figure out what needs to be done, and get the job done correctly and efficiently. Responsibilities Install, repair, replace, and maintain residential plumbing systems Perform rough and finish plumbing for residential construction and remodel projects Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, low water pressure, drainage issues, and other plumbing problems Install and replace residential plumbing fixtures, including toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, tubs, and water heaters Install and modify water supply, drain, waste, vent, and gas piping as applicable Read and interpret residential blueprints, plans, and plumbing layouts Measure, cut, thread, fit, assemble, and install various types of residential piping Perform plumbing demolition and modifications associated with residential remodeling Troubleshoot existing residential plumbing systems and determine appropriate repairs Identify plumbing issues and recommend practical repair or replacement solutions Work with hand tools, power tools, and standard plumbing equipment Coordinate with homeowners, general contractors, carpenters, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Protect finished surfaces, flooring, cabinets, and other areas of the home while working Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding work being performed Document completed work, materials used, and any issues discovered Follow applicable plumbing codes, OSHA requirements, and company safety procedures Safely load, transport, and handle tools, materials, and equipment Perform other residential construction and plumbing tasks when needed What We're Looking For Proven experience as a residential plumber Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems Residential construction and/or remodeling experience Ability to troubleshoot plumbing problems and find practical solutions Ability to read and understand residential blueprints, plans, and plumbing layouts Proficiency with common plumbing hand tools and power tools Knowledge of pipe sizing, fittings, threading, and installation methods Knowledge of residential drain, waste, vent, and water-supply systems Basic knowledge of residential gas piping Basic math skills for measurements, material calculations, and layout Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Dependable, punctual, and professional Good communication skills and a professional attitude around homeowners Ability to safely lift and carry plumbing materials, tools, and equipment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel between residential job sites throughout North San Diego County and South Orange County Preferred Qualifications Extensive residential remodeling experience Experience working in occupied homes Experience troubleshooting existing residential plumbing systems Water heater installation and replacement experience Gas piping experience Sewer and drain repair experience Experience with repiping Experience with residential additions and new construction Welding or brazing experience General construction or carpentry experience Plumbing certification or license Physical Requirements This is a hands-on residential plumbing position. The job requires the ability to: Lift and carry plumbing materials, tools, and equipment Work in crawl spaces, attics, under homes, and other confined areas Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work overhead for extended periods Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Safely operate and work around construction equipment Work carefully around finished residential spaces and personal property Why Join Us?
