NP Mechanical Rice Services Inc seeks a Plumber to support construction and skilled labor projects in rice mills and grain handling facilities. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing process piping, water, air, and drainage systems; troubleshooting leaks and equipment connections; and assisting with custom fabrication. Work closely with experienced technicians in the field, follow safety procedures, read blueprints, and complete accurate documentation. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair process piping, water, air, and drainage systems in rice mills and grain handling facilities Troubleshoot leaks, flow issues, and plumbing-related equipment connections to mechanical systems Assist with layout, measurement, cutting, threading, and joining of pipe and fittings (steel, copper, PVC, etc.) Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and job specifications to plan plumbing installations and tie-ins Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing and related mechanical systems to reduce downtime Support custom fabrication work, including basic welding prep and equipment hookups Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and confined space rules Use hand and power tools safely and maintain tools and equipment in good working order Document work performed, materials used, and time on work orders and service reports Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and customers to schedule work and minimize disruption to operations Required Skills Industrial plumbing installation and repair Pipefitting (cutting, threading, joining) Blueprint and P&ID reading Use of plumbing and pipefitting tools Basic welding or fabrication support Troubleshooting fluid and air systems Mechanical aptitude with pumps and process equipment Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards Preventive maintenance on piping systems Lockout/tagout and jobsite safety practices
