This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and plumbing, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities Install and repair residential plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation projects Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling and renovation projects Conduct inspections to ensure plumbing systems meet safety standards and building codes Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to plumbing and HVAC systems Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills Strong customer service and communication skills Proven experience in construction plumbing, remodeling, or related fields Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, welding, HVAC systems, and general plumbing components Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations Experience with carpentry or maintenance person work is a plus Valid commercial driver's license (preferred) for transporting materials or equipment This position is ideal for individuals with construction site experience who are looking to advance their careers in residential plumbing installation.
