Pay:
Competitive market pay About the role We are a brand new residential plumbing company in Orange County, and we are hiring one of our very first team members. Not employee number 500. One of the first people through the door, helping build this company from day one. Here is what makes us different. Our signature service is the
Home Health Report:
a structured, instrument-based assessment of a home's plumbing that gives the homeowner a graded report on their systems. Nobody else in our market does this. You would be the technician running these assessments on your own, owning your daily route, and handling basic service work along the way. This is not a helper position, and it is not a job where you disappear into a big crew. After training, you are in homes on your own, representing the company, with your name on work that goes straight to the customer. The standards you help set now become the playbook every future technician learns from. That is what ground floor actually means here. What you will do Run scheduled home assessments solo: a 45 to 60 minute structured inspection covering water pressure, fixtures, water heater, supply lines, drains, and leak risk points Use professional instruments (pressure gauge, water quality meters, gas detector) and capture findings through our digital checklist system with photo documentation Walk homeowners through what you found in plain, honest language, with no selling and no pressure. Our reports contain no prices by design Perform basic service tasks within your skill level: supply line and washer hose replacements, angle stops, minor fixture work, with senior technician support behind you Flag anything beyond scope for our licensed senior technician and keep clean handoff records Help shape how we do things. What works in the field becomes how the company does it going forward What you bring Some hands-on experience in plumbing, construction, home inspection, or a related trade preferred, but strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail matter more than years Comfortable working independently and managing your own daily schedule Clear, respectful communication with homeowners in their space Detail discipline. Our assessment system depends on following the checklist exactly, every time, with complete photos Valid California driver's license, clean driving record, able to lift 75 lbs and access crawl spaces and attics, pass a background check
Bonus:
home inspection experience, trade school coursework, or Spanish fluency What we offer A true founding role. Our first technicians become our future leads and supervisors, and you will have a head start no one hired after you can catch Full training on our assessment system with written standards, plus all instruments and equipment provided Company vehicle for work use, phone, and equipment kit A defined growth path: assessment technician to service technician to lead, with written requirements and pay for each level, so you always know exactly what the next step is and what it pays A company built to grow across trades and locations. As we add HVAC, electrical, and new territories, the people who started first get first shot at the bigger roles How we work Our assessment reports contain no prices and require nothing from the homeowner. Your job is to observe accurately and document honestly. Flat-rate pricing and no commission pressure anywhere in the company. Business-hours schedule. We are building the kind of plumbing company we would want showing up at our own front door. If you have ever thought "this shop would be great if they just did things right," this is your chance to be part of building the one that does. To apply Send your resume, or just a short note about your background and why this role sounds like you. We respond to every applicant within 2 business days. We are an equal opportunity employer.
