Residential Plumber / Plumbing Apprentice - New Construction & ServiceJob Summary Kansas Plumbing Solutions LLC is a locally owned and operated plumbing company serving Lawrence, Kansas, and surrounding communities. We're growing and looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team. Our work consists primarily of residential new construction, along with residential plumbing service, repairs, and installations. We're open to applicants with different levels of experience, from motivated beginners interested in learning the plumbing trade to experienced plumbers looking for an opportunity to grow with a small company. As a small business, we offer the opportunity to work directly alongside an experienced master plumber, gain hands-on experience, and develop valuable skills in a variety of plumbing applications. Responsibilities Assist with or perform residential plumbing installations, including underground plumbing, rough-ins, and fixture installations. Install and service water heaters, faucets, toilets, water lines, drains, and other plumbing systems. Read and follow plumbing plans, measurements, and job specifications. Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, tools, and equipment. Assist with material preparation, deliveries, and general shop duties as needed. Follow applicable plumbing codes and safety practices. Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades. Qualifications Plumbing or construction experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right individual. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as skills develop. Comfortable performing physical work and lifting plumbing materials. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work well with others and take pride in quality workmanship. What We Offer $18-$27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Typically 30-40 hours per week, with hours varying based on workload. Monday-Friday daytime schedule. Hands-on training working directly with an experienced master plumber. Opportunities for increased pay and responsibilities as skills develop. Experience in both residential new construction and service plumbing.
