2 Candidate bonus: OverTime Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Ipswich. As a Lead Plumber, you will act as a field leader, responsible for overseeing plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs on mainly residential job sites. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership skills, guiding apprentices, ensuring code compliance, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities Job Site Leadership:

Supervise plumbing teams on residential and commercial sites, coordinating daily tasks and maintaining workflow.

Installation & Repair:

Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing systems, including high-efficiency boilers, water heaters, radiant heat systems, and plumbing fixtures.

Customer Interaction:

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, explaining project scopes and providing professional, friendly service.

Code Compliance:

Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing regulations.

Mentorship:

Provide guidance, training, and supervision to junior plumbers and apprentices.

Project Coordination:

Coordinate with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

Materials & Safety:

Manage job site materials/inventory and promote a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications Licensing:

Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License is required.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing.

Technical Skills:

Deep knowledge of plumbing codes, heating systems, and specialized equipment.

Leadership:

Proven experience leading a crew or managing projects.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Valid Driver's License:

Clean driving record required.

Physical Stamina:
