We started with one truck and have grown to a team of 15. We're building toward the next stage, and we need a strong field leader to help get us there. The Role The Plumbing & HVAC Field Manager is responsible for making sure our techs are doing great work, every job, every day. You'll lead our technicians and installers in the field, hold them to a high standard, and make sure every job is done right, on time, and to code, with a great customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role: part coach, part quality control, part problem solver. You'll report directly to the owner. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support our plumbing and HVAC technicians and install crews Hold techs accountable to our standards for workmanship, professionalism, and customer experience, and make sure they have what they need to succeed Monitor tech performance and give regular, honest feedback; recognize great work and correct problems early Perform ride-alongs, job-site visits, and quality checks on service calls and installations Train techs on our processes, safety standards, and customer service expectations Run daily field operations: crew assignments, job readiness, and schedule coordination with the office Handle escalated customer issues and callbacks, and make it right Help with complex diagnostics and troubleshooting on plumbing, boiler, and HVAC systems Make sure jobs are properly documented in ServiceTitan (notes, photos, forms, time) Track and improve field KPIs like callbacks, job completion, and efficiency Work with the warehouse on truck stock, materials, and purchase orders Coordinate permits and inspections with local towns Help recruit, interview, and onboard new field team members Take part in the on-call rotation as needed What We're Looking For Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber license (required); Master license preferred 5+ years of residential plumbing experience; HVAC/boiler experience strongly preferred 2+ years leading or supervising field technicians or crews Strong troubleshooting skills on residential plumbing, heating, and cooling systems Clear communicator who can coach techs and talk with homeowners Organized and comfortable with field service software (ServiceTitan experience a plus) Valid driver's license and clean driving record What We Offer $85,000 to $105,000 per year, based on experience Company vehicle Full-time, Monday to Friday A growing, veteran-owned company where your input shapes how we work Real room to grow as the company scales
