Carter Quality Plumbing is looking for an experienced Service Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can confidently operate their own service truck, diagnose and complete residential plumbing repairs, communicate professionally with customers, and take ownership of their work from start to finish. This is an incentive-based position designed to reward technicians who are productive, provide excellent customer service, perform quality work, and help the company grow. Responsibilities Operate and maintain a fully stocked company service truck. Run residential plumbing service calls independently. Diagnose plumbing problems and provide customers with clear repair and replacement options. Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain findings and recommendations in an easy-to-understand manner. Complete plumbing repairs and installations efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship. Perform work in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and company standards. Accurately document work performed, materials used, photos, and job notes. Present estimates and obtain customer approval before beginning additional work. Maintain a clean and organized work area and leave customers' homes as clean as or cleaner than when you arrived. Properly manage tools, equipment, and inventory assigned to the service truck. Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, job progress, additional work, and customer concerns. Identify additional legitimate plumbing concerns and provide customers with appropriate options without using high-pressure sales tactics. Participate in an incentive-based compensation program that rewards performance and productivity. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who can be trusted to represent Carter Quality Plumbing when working independently in a customer's home.

Candidates should have:

3+ years of plumbing experience preferred. Strong residential service and repair experience. Ability to independently diagnose plumbing problems. Ability to operate a service truck and manage a daily schedule. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to explain plumbing issues and present repair/replacement options. Ability to perform quality work without constant supervision. Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and applicable plumbing codes. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely lift and carry plumbing equipment and materials. Professional appearance and attitude. Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic. Compensation This position utilizes an incentive-based compensation structure , giving the technician an opportunity to earn more based on performance and productivity.
