About Custom Container Living Custom Container Living is a rapidly growing family-owned company specializing in the design and construction of custom shipping container homes. Since 2015, we have been transforming shipping containers into high-quality residential and commercial structures for customers nationwide. We are seeking an experienced plumber who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works safely, and can independently complete residential plumbing installations from rough-in through final trim. Position Summary This position is ideal for a skilled plumber with residential new construction experience who can read plans, install complete plumbing systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all work complies with applicable codes and company quality standards. This is not a service plumbing position. Most work involves plumbing installations within our manufacturing facility as part of the construction of custom container homes. Responsibilities Install complete residential plumbing systems from rough-in through final trim. Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing drawings, and specifications. Install water supply, drain, waste, and vent systems. Install fixtures, faucets, drains, garbage disposals, water heaters, appliances, and finish plumbing components. Perform pressure and leak testing using air and/or water. Ensure all work complies with IRC requirements and local code standards. Troubleshoot installation challenges and propose practical solutions. Complete punch-list items accurately and efficiently. Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work area. Work effectively with other trades and production team members. Required Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of residential plumbing installation experience. Demonstrated experience performing both rough-in and finish plumbing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing plans. Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems and IRC requirements. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Dependable attendance and reliable work ethic. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. High school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications Journeyman Plumber License. Experience with residential new construction. Experience working in manufacturing or production environments. Pay:
$25.00 - $50.00 per hour
