Job Description
Overview We are seeking experienced and reliable Journeyman Plumbers and Plumbing Helpers to join our team. This role involves working on various construction and remodeling projects, providing essential plumbing services, and supporting maintenance operations across commercial and residential sites. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in plumbing systems, construction practices, and mechanical knowledge to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodels, and existing structures Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and efficiently Assist with pipe fitting, cutting, threading, and assembly of plumbing components in accordance with project specifications Perform site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations Collaborate with team members on construction site projects, including carpentry and remodeling tasks Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use Support field service operations by troubleshooting plumbing problems on-site Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or related field service roles Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical concepts Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and other construction tools Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs Familiarity with new construction ,remodeling processes, maintenance procedures, and handyman tasks is a plus Experience with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards Mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues efficiently Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • This position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople to contribute to diverse projects while advancing their careers within the construction industry.
