Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in plumbing building codes, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and local standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components in residential and commercial settings Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise pipe installation and system layouts Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble plumbing components according to code Ensure all work adheres to plumbing building codes, local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and system inspections to ensure optimal functioning of plumbing systems Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and field service personnel to coordinate installation efforts Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction plumbing projects while maintaining safety protocols Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and compliance with building codes for project records Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial environments Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans with a strong mechanical aptitude Hands-on experience with pipe threading, pipe installation, welding, and use of hand tools and power tools Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, safety regulations, and gas piping systems Familiarity with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), remodeling projects, and field service activities Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on construction sites or in confined spaces Strong customer service skills when interacting with clients or project managers during service calls or installations Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber if you're passionate about delivering top-tier plumbing solutions while working in a fast-paced construction environment.
