Job Description
For over 18 years, Custom Electric & Plumbing has been a trusted name for homeowners across the Triad. We're a locally owned company that takes pride in quality work and 100% customer satisfaction, and we're looking for an experienced technician to join our team. What you'll need: 5+ years of electrical experience (required) 1+ year installing standby generators (required) 1+ year installing EV chargers (required) 2+ years of residential plumbing experience (preferred) 3+ years of residential construction experience (preferred) Generac or Kohler installation experience (a plus) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What you'll do: Install EV chargers and standby generators Install and upgrade residential electrical panels Handle residential electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, faucets, toilets, and leaks Install and service water heaters, including tank and tankless Assist with gas line, water line, sewer line, and water filtration work Read and follow plans, diagrams, and installation instructions Explain recommended work to homeowners in plain language Complete job paperwork and documentation accurately Follow codes, company procedures, and safety standards Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Who we're looking for: Someone who shows up on time, every time.
