Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and appliances in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and construction plans Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise pipe installation and system layouts Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and carpentry skills to complete projects efficiently and safely Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance Adhere strictly to local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards during all phases of work Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate schedules and meet project deadlines Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site experience while maintaining a focus on safety regulations Experience Proven construction experience with a strong background in residential and commercial plumbing projects Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Skilled in pipe installation techniques including pipe threading, fitting assembly, and gas piping systems Familiarity with plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices Knowledge of building code compliance related to plumbing systems in various jurisdictions Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and safety regulations on construction sites Mechanical knowledge of plumbing components combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations Customer service experience is beneficial for field service roles involving client interaction Join us if you're eager to bring your plumbing expertise into a vibrant environment where safety is paramount and craftsmanship is celebrated.
