Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Residential Plumbing Technician, where you will be the frontline expert in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential plumbing systems. Your energetic approach will ensure homeowners receive top-quality service, efficient solutions, and lasting results. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction and plumbing skills in a fast-paced environment, helping clients improve their water systems and plumbing infrastructure with confidence and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drain lines, fixtures, and appliances. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct drain cleaning using specialized tools and techniques to clear blockages and restore proper flow. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise installation and repairs aligned with local building codes. Operate company vehicles safely to travel between job sites while adhering to commercial driving regulations. Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, corrosion, or damage; perform system maintenance to prevent future issues. Collaborate with clients by providing clear explanations of work performed and offering advice on plumbing system care. Assist with remodeling projects or construction site tasks that require plumbing expertise or handyman skills. Maintain a clean work environment, follow safety protocols, and document all service activities thoroughly. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on residential plumbing or related fields such as remodeling or handyman work. Skilled in welding, pipe threading, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of plumbing inspection cameras, drain cleaning equipment, and blueprint reading. Familiarity with local building codes and plumbing standards to ensure compliant work. Mechanical knowledge related to water systems, plumbing system maintenance, repair techniques, and troubleshooting. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations. Experience operating heavy lifting equipment safely and performing heavy lifting tasks regularly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a company vehicle is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working in confined spaces or at heights. $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
